teams, and is comfortable building relationships, developing partnerships, and presenting to small groups.</p><h2>Position Overview</h2><p>The Regional Director of Business Development will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, strengthening relationships with healthcare partners, and supporting the growth of TECS throughout Tennessee.</p><p>The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the post-acute healthcare environment and the ability to communicate effectively with administrators, clinical leaders, physicians, therapy teams, and other healthcare professionals.</p><p><strong>Candidates should reside in Middle or East Tennessee and be willing to travel throughout Tennessee, with occasional out-of-state travel as needed.</strong></p><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Develop and execute regional business development strategies to expand TECS's presence in the post-acute healthcare market.</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with SNF administrators, clinical leadership, therapy teams, physicians, and other healthcare partners.</li><li>Identify new business opportunities and develop referral and partnership relationships.</li><li>Conduct facility visits, networking activities, community outreach, and business development meetings.</li><li>Present TECS services and value proposition to small groups, healthcare professionals, and facility leadership.</li><li>Represent TECS at meetings, conferences, networking events, and industry functions.</li><li>Collaborate with clinical and operational leadership to support successful partnerships and client relationships.</li><li>Monitor market trends, competitor activity, referral opportunities, and regional growth opportunities.</li><li>Track business development activities, leads, partnerships, and results.</li><li>Provide regular updates and reports regarding regional business development efforts and performance.</li><li>Travel regularly throughout Tennessee and occasionally outside the state.</li></ul><h2>Required Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred.</li><li><strong>Minimum of 3 years of professional experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or post-acute care setting.</strong></li><li><strong>Healthcare experience in therapy, rehabilitation, or another comparable clinical environment is required.</strong></li><li><strong>Experience in healthcare business development, sales, outreach, marketing, account management, or a related field.</strong></li><li>Strong understanding of the post-acute healthcare environment and the needs of SNFs.</li><li>Proven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with healthcare organizations and decision-makers.</li><li>Strong communication, presentation, networking, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Comfortable speaking and presenting in front of small groups.</li><li>Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and relationship-building skills.</li><li>Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.</li><li><strong>Ability and willingness to travel throughout Tennessee regularly, with occasional out-of-state travel.</strong></li><li><strong>Must reside in Middle or East Tennessee.</strong></li></ul><h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2><ul><li>5-8+ years of healthcare business development experience.</li><li>Previous business development experience within physical medicine and rehabilitation, therapy, SNF, or other post-acute healthcare services.</li><li>Existing relationships with SNF, rehabilitation, therapy, or healthcare leadership.</li><li>Experience developing regional growth strategies and successfully generating new
