Media, Social Media, Broadcasting &amp; Web Development InternSports Medicine | Live Streaming | Podcasting | Digital Platforms Greater Detroit AreaAbout the OpportunityWe are offering a hands-on internship opportunity for a creative, driven, and sports-minded individual who wants real-world experience in&nbsp;media production, social media, broadcasting, and website development&nbsp;within the&nbsp;sports medicine and performance space.You'll work alongside industry professionals connected to the&nbsp;#1 sports station in the Greater Detroit area, helping bring stories, content, and digital experiences to life across&nbsp;broadcast, social, podcast, live stream, and web platforms.This is not a "watch from the sidelines" internship. You'll be actively involved in creating, producing, publishing, and optimizing content that reaches a large and engaged audience.What You'll Be Involved In<ul><li>Assisting with&nbsp;live streaming and broadcast production</li><li>Supporting&nbsp;podcast recording, editing, and publishing</li><li>Creating and scheduling&nbsp;social media content&nbsp;(reels, clips, stories, posts)</li><li>Helping maintain and update&nbsp;websites and landing pages</li><li>Assisting with&nbsp;website content uploads, formatting, and optimization</li><li>Supporting basic&nbsp;website design, layout updates, and user experience improvements</li><li>Behind-the-scenes coverage of&nbsp;sports medicine, athlete performance, and wellness</li><li>Helping produce content tied to&nbsp;sports events, interviews, and on-air segments</li><li>Brainstorming creative ideas for&nbsp;digital, broadcast, and web platforms</li></ul>Who We're Looking For<ul><li>Current student or recent graduate in:</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Media, Communications, Broadcasting, Marketing, Digital Media, Web Design, or related field</li><li>Strong interest in&nbsp;sports, sports medicine, health, or performance</li><li>Comfortable on camera&nbsp;or&nbsp;interested in behind-the-scenes production</li><li>Familiar with (or eager to learn):</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Website platforms (Squarespace, WordPress, Webflow, or similar)</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Live streaming and podcast formats</li><li>Organized, creative, and detail-oriented</li><li>Excited to learn how&nbsp;media, web, and sports performance intersect</li></ul>Bonus Skills (Not Required)<ul><li>Video editing (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut)</li><li>Audio editing or podcast experience</li><li>Basic HTML/CSS or web design experience</li><li>Graphic design or photography</li><li>SEO or analytics familiarity</li></ul>What You'll Gain<ul><li>Hands-on experience with a&nbsp;top sports media platform</li><li>Exposure to&nbsp;professional broadcasting, digital media, and web development</li><li>Portfolio-worthy content across&nbsp;video, audio, social, and web</li><li>Mentorship from professionals in&nbsp;sports media and sports medicine</li><li>Networking opportunities in&nbsp;sports, healthcare, and media</li><li>Real-world experience that translates directly to future media or digital roles</li></ul>Internship Details<ul><li>Location:&nbsp;Greater Detroit Area&nbsp;</li><li>Schedule:&nbsp;Flexible and student-friendly</li><li>Compensation:&nbsp;Internship credit and/or stipend (based on experience and availability)</li><li>Duration:&nbsp;Semester-based or flexible term</li></ul>
